April 5, 2012 Chapters 24-25
Do you remember when mom takes a thread or even worse the chicken yarn to pull your teeth out. Well, Maya experience that fate, but this time it is her molars hurting that momma actually took her this time to the dentist, not to any dentist, but to a black dentist. Yep, during her times black and white still hating each other. She's been confident that momma was an important person though because both race get credits from her store. I remember those times as well getting credits for groceries, when I was young I thought our groceries were free...lol. Oops next time readers.
