March 27,2012 Chapter 3-4
Welcome fellow readers, as often we drop our kids to grandma's for a visit, but not for Maya, her parents dropped both her and brother Bailey for grandma to raise. Although her parents left them at granny's who lives in Stamps, Arkansas, they adjusted to the place. A new environment, they quickly learned to manage a store owned by her grandma, yeap, a black woman owned a store, as known to us as mom and pop store---lol. Actually, it was culture shock from Long Beach, Cali to Arkansas, Maya three and her brother four. Oops next time readers.
