Well, Dawson worked for Tuck as a mechanic, and of course his dad threaten him for his pay check. Actually Dawson put some money away in his savings. Yes, Dawson was tempted to leave his home town but he needed to save more money to established himself. Not only did this family were abusive they run "moon shine" better known as pure alchohol whew talking about drinking this is the real stuff. This family rules the town people are scared of them.
