February 07, 2012 - Tuesday


I liked the fact that when Mariquita was feeling hatred or frightened, she turned to God for direction. The quote "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that dispitefully use you, and persecute you" came from a reading in the Bible. When times get rough for me, I always look to God for directions and always tell myself, God will never give us any problems we cannot handle. That's why this part of he story really touched me.

  2. I strongly agree Sabrina, I learned the meaning of forgiveness, compassion, mercy, cast your burden and he will give you rest, my burdens were lifted because I asked my heavenly father to forgive me first.
