February 7,2012

Three months our people endured turmoil and hardships, but their beliefs and faith in God remained strong.  Our people also remained true to the soldiers of war, they shared food and among other things.  January 2, 1942, this was a joyous day for the Howards, Eddie held baby Helen for the first time, they embraced the love they all have for eachother, not long after this Eddie was shipped out to Japan.  While, I was reading this part:  School was open and our people was forced to learn Japanese language, I had a flash back on my mom telling me this, because she had spoken the language which she learned.  The brutality, humiliation of this war still lingers within the Veterens, I salute them for their bravery for given us our freedom.
