So on tuesday i have read chapters 3,4,5. Peeta and katniss get taken away by the peace makers from the government. They are place in different rooms to say their goodbyes to their families. I think it is very sad that peeta and katniss have to join the hunger games it's a cruel thing. Where teenagers having to fight to death. But katniss is doing it for her little sister prim. So Madge the mayor's daughter visits katniss to say her goodbyes and gives her a pin a mocking j pin this is a symbol of rebellion of the dark days. I was pretty shocked that madge actually gave katniss the pin. why? because they never actually spoken. So Gale was last one to say his goodbyes to katniss. I wonder if they have something going on between them, they been partners for so long. Also she trys not to cry through the hunger games because there are cameras following the tributes. but when she looks at peeta he looks like a total mess. She wonders if this is part of peeta's strategy is he trying to look weak on purpose while other tributes think hes not stronger as he is. So Peeta, Effie, Katniss, and Haymitch are off to the captiol and the training for the hunger games will begin.
Im So excited to see what will happen next. So they reach the captiol Haymitch was drunk and vomiting all over the place so Peeta takes him to his room. So katniss wonders if Peeta is just being nice or is it just some big strategy. She can't figure out if he is sweet and innocent or kniving. I guess she thinks like that cause she can't really trust anyone at the moment. The reason for that could be is that only one tribute will survive the hunger games. Despite being a survivor she has a bad feeling that something is going to happen. I think she is just thinking negative at the moment. Because she doesn't know what to expect. So katniss and Peeta have breakfast the next morning they really want him to start telling them what to expect when they get inthe arena. Some advice "stay alive" the he punches peeta in the face . Katniss has peeta back she slams a knife into the table between his hands and bottle, barely missing his fingers. Haymitch finally talks an tells them that appearance is everything the better looking tributes pull more sponsers and you want sponsers when your in the arena because you will have more resources at your disposal. So katniss get all wax and she meets her stylist cinna she was pretty impressed and he actually has some respect for her. Cinna tells katniss that he actually requested District 12. So he and Peeta stylist decided to coordinate them for opening ceremony. So there outfit is suppose to represent there district. Cinna wants create an outfit the crowd will never forget. He is going to set her on fire! I think that is pretty amazing. So peeta and katniss see themselves all dress up. They stand in front of the crowd while waving and she didnt really notice that they were actually holding hands most of the time. so these chapters i asked myself alot of questions what if or why or mainly why children?
