Chapters 4,5 and 6 is very interesting because I never thought that it was that bad back in the days. Reading and finding out more about our history and what happened makes it hard to believe. I myself would be terrified and scared if that ever happened to me and I had my husband gone. I most especially liked how mariquita did not give up and she stayed strong for both Eddie and her children. I can't wait to read more

I feel the same way, I would not survive. Guam is all about family and extended family. That why foreignors make Guam their home, we are so laid back.
