THE TAKING
Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped on June 10, 1991 (Monday) at the early age of 11 years old. She was missing and held in captivity for more than 18 years of her life. Jaycee gave birth 2 daughters from the man that kidnapped her on the way to school (there was a woman involved on the same day). Dugard was tasered and was paralyzed through out her entire body. Not being able to breathe, her head was covered with a blanket. The last freedom she touched was a "pinecone."

OH Evelyn that sounds like an interesting novel especially real stories. I might just read after the book I am reading. Keep up your reading.
ReplyDeleteI looked up the story on the internet and there are other girls that were in the same position as her. They spoke about being rape themselves. Thought it was heartbreaking and courageous.
ReplyDeleteoh man i remember this story i watched date line news on this it is sad what had happen to her i really like this story.good book can't wait to read more on your next post.
ReplyDeleteI started reading my book before our due date but wanted to change it. Wanted a novel that would challenge my mind and be able to use what I learned in the future. As I read on, it kept me from wanting to read more because she was optimistic about life in general.
DeleteWent to Best Seller and saw this book. Was really thinking of purchasing it because I am more into the non-fiction novels.
ReplyDeleteRead the first chapters of your novel and see where it goes from there. You can always borrow my book for a day, just let me know. (Warning it is a very awesome and such an insipiring novel) you might not want to give it back. Good luck on finding that one book that will interest you.
ReplyDeleteI found one already. Thank You.
