Today, Chapter 4, 5 and 6 was read to us. Me, being a ex-military wife...I can relate on how worried and scared Mariquita felt for Eddie when he was on duty in a place far from each other...let alone to care for 2 young children. I can also relate to how Mariquita was a young housewife and mother. Being a young housewife and mother takes a whole lot of responsibilities and things we use to do with friends, we cannot do often. This book is getting interesting each Chapter.

There are times when I want to read the book myself, but Mrs.Q is doing a great job and she explains it after reading which makes it that much easier to picture the story.
ReplyDeleteI love being read too while reading along. Makes me understand the story more. I'm trying so hard now to find a book with a audible.
